Critical Maintenance Window – DFDC The Hague

We would like to inform you of a critical maintenance window at our DFDC The Hague data center scheduled for Wednesday, April 9, 2025. During this maintenance, we will be transitioning all utility power to a set of parallel generators while decommissioning our existing 10kV 400kVA utility power feed and bringing the first of two 1.75MW 23kV utility power feeds into service.

This maintenance has been carefully planned and will be executed following a Method of Procedure (MOP) reviewed by all stakeholders. Qualified personnel and stakeholders will be on-site to oversee the transition. Our generators will be operating in an N+1 configuration to ensure redundancy and mitigate any potential service impact.

Maintenance Schedule (CET):
06:30 AM – Shift all power to generators [DFDC/Generator]
07:15 AM – Decommission existing low-voltage feed from transformer to main distribution board [Utility Company]
08:00 AM – Prepare tie-in for new transformer to main distribution board [DFDC/Electrical]
10:00 AM – Bring new 2MW transformer into service [Utility/DFDC/Transformer]
11:30 AM – Conduct preliminary checks, switch load from generators to the new transformer, and continue monitoring [DFDC/Transformer/Generator]
12:00 PM - Monitor infrastructure [DFDC/Electrical]
03:00 PM – Close maintenance window [DFDC]

On-Site Access & Customer Presence:
Access to common areas, the parking lot, and the loading bay will be restricted during the maintenance window. We kindly request that customers minimize on-site presence where possible. However, if you wish to have engineers on-site for monitoring, we can provide temporary workspaces for their use.
